What data do we collect?

The main Cetis sites are our home site (www.cetis.org.uk) and publications site (publications.cetis.org.uk). We use Eventbrite for event organisation which has its own Privacy Policy (http://www.eventbrite.com/privacypolicy/).

We log activity on all of these sites and use Google Analytics to monitor how the system is being used in order to improve the service. Google Analytics uses cookies (see our cookies policy) and tracks a number attributes including your IP address, search terms, and referrer.

Cetis also uses a number of third party services from Word Press, JISCMail and various survey tools. Cetis is not responsible for the data collected by these services.

How do we use the data?

Personal data will be used for the immediate purpose for which it is acquired, for example for communication relating to an event or a project enquiry.

Anonymised analytics data is used to understand activity trends in order to improve the services we provide.
